We
were first introduced to miniature schnauzers about 12 years ago. We
wanted a pet for our family and started researching different breeds and decided
that the schnauzers had all the qualities that we were looking for. Our
first schnauzer was a salt/pepper that we called Pinkie. She is the reason
that we decided to become breeders of this great breed because, even though she
had the wonderful schnauzer personality, her body type left a lot to be desired.
We feel that it is just as important for your pet to look the way a schnauzer is supposed to
look as it is for a schnauzer who is competing in the show ring.
We are always striving to improve the quality of the
breed in
both type and temperament. Our mission is to breed healthy, well socialized
Miniature Schnauzers with sound temperaments, to not knowingly breed any
schnauzer with hereditary defects, and to sell quality puppies as pets with a
health
guarantee.
We breed dogs that only carry
the four FCI approved colors of salt/pepper,
black, black/silver, and white. Our dogs are registered through the
American Kennel Club and have all of the necessary health screenings to
ensure that we are breeding quality puppies. We don't over breed our
dogs as it is unhealthy for them to do so. Occasionally we have a
litter of puppies for sale or older dogs to be placed in loving homes to
become couch potatoes. We are located in the
southwestern region of Virginia in the country so our dogs have lots of room to
romp and play. They live with us and we love them dearly. They are truly a part
of our family. Our children have grown up loving and being loved by our
schnauzers and now our grandchildren are sharing in that experience. |
